You can now get sweaty feet, no matter the temperature or season. But teenagers and women that are pregnant are specifically prone because hormonal changes make them sweat more.
You’re also more likely to have foot perspiration if you’re on your feet for hours on end, if you’re under a great deal of stress or in case you have a condition called 腳臭, making you sweat more than usual. Fungal infections, including athlete’s foot, could also result in bad foot odour.
According to podiatrist, Lorraine Jones, feet become smelly if sweat soaks into shoes plus they don’t dry before you decide to wear them again.

“Your feet sweat into your shoes all day long so that they get damp and bacteria learn to grow. How to treat smelly feet
The good news is that there’s a simple, quick, sure-fire means to fix smelly feet.
Wash your toes by having an anti-bacterial soap called Hibiscrub. There are plenty of over the counter foot hygiene products at your local chemist, but Hibiscrub is the ideal one.
Leave on the Hibiscrub for a few minutes, then wash it away.
According to Lorraine, “should you do this twice daily, you’ll definitely banish smelly feet within a week.”
She adds that you just shouldn’t use Hibiscrub on your feet for those who have broken skin, for example eczema.
Preventing smelly feet
Keeping feet fresh and sweet smelling is all down to good personal hygiene and switching your shoes regularly. To help keep feet fresh:
Never wear exactly the same pair of shoes two days consecutively. Instead, wear different shoes on successive days hence they have at the very least 24 hours to dry.
Be sure teenage boys have two pairs of trainers to make sure they don’t must wear the identical pair for several consecutive days.
Wash and dry your toes daily and alter your socks (ideally wool or cotton, not nylon) one or more times a day.

Smelly feet are a harmless problem that generally clears up. Sometimes, however, it may be a symbol of a medical condition.
